Hearing Care Services Based on Comprehensive Best Practice

At SNR Hearing, our aim is to deliver the highest standard of hearing healthcare, grounded in evidence, integrity, and a genuine commitment to improving quality of life.

We provide comprehensive, outcome-focused hearing services for adults and children over the age of four, supported by advanced diagnostics, ethical recommendations, and long-term care.

Our Hearing Healthcare Services

Comprehensive Hearing Assessments

We offer in-depth hearing evaluations that go far beyond basic hearing tests.
Assessments are conducted in a sound-treated environment and may include:

  • Otoscopic ear examination
  • Pure tone audiometry
  • Speech discrimination testing
  • Speech-in-noise testing (Quick SIN)
  • Measurement of uncomfortable loudness levels
  • Audible Contrast Threshold testing
  • Middle ear analysis
  • Functional outcome measures such as COSI and HHIA

This depth of assessment allows us to accurately diagnose hearing difficulties and predict real-world listening performance, leading to better long-term outcomes.

Ear, Nose and Throat & Medical Collaboration

Not all hearing difficulties are managed with hearing aids.

Where medical or surgical assessment is required, we work closely with Dr Rupani or other Ear, Nose and Throat specialists or physicians, ensuring patients receive timely, appropriate and integrated care.

Hearing Aids & Aural Rehabilitation

When hearing aids are clinically indicated, they form part of a complete hearing rehabilitation programme, not a standalone solution.

Our service includes:

  • Careful selection of digital hearing aids based on lifestyle and clinical need
  • International manufacturer warranties
  • Verification of fittings using real ear measurements
  • Electroacoustic analysis to confirm hearing aid performance
  • Comprehensive counselling and auditory rehabilitation
  • Long-term follow-up and outcome monitoring

All recommendations are needs-based and outcome-driven, never sales-led.

Full-Time Audiology Assistant Support (A Key Part of Our Care Model)

Exceptional hearing outcomes depend on day-to-day usability and confidence, not just clinical fittings.

At SNR Hearing, patients have access to full-time audiology assistants who provide practical, hands-on support, including:

  • Bluetooth and smartphone connectivity
  • Hearing aid apps and personalised settings
  • TV connectors and wireless accessories
  • Troubleshooting everyday hearing challenges
  • Coaching on communication tactics for home, work and social environments
  • Support for family members, carers or colleagues

This ensures patients are never left struggling with technology or communication and can fully benefit from their hearing care.

Tinnitus Assessment and Management

We provide structured tinnitus care including:

  • Comprehensive tinnitus assessment
  • Education and counselling
  • Evidence-based management strategies
  • Integration with hearing solutions where appropriate

Assistive Listening Devices & Wireless Accessories

We supply a range of assistive listening solutions, including:

  • Wireless hearing aid accessories
  • TV listening systems
  • Remote microphones and communication aids

These are recommended only when they provide clear, measurable benefit in daily listening environments.

In-House Hearing Aid Repair & Warranty Service

We operate a fully equipped, on-site technical laboratory, allowing us to provide:

  • Routine hearing aid maintenance
  • Repairs to international standards
  • Accredited warranty servicing
  • Rapid turnaround and long-term technical support

This ensures continuity of care and minimal disruption for our patients.

Ear Wax Removal

We provide safe, clinical ear wax removal using:

  • Digital Earigator
  • Clearwax microsuction

All procedures are performed under direct visualisation by trained professionals.

Hearing Protection

We offer hearing protection solutions for:

  • Noise exposure (occupational or recreational)
  • Musicians and industrial settings
  • Swimming and water activities

Standards of Practice

We follow the most stringent international hearing healthcare standards.

Our minimum standards align with those set by the UK Healthcare Professions Council. We go beyond this by subscribing to comprehensive best-practice protocols outlined by leading international professional bodies such as the American Academy of Audiology and the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists.

We maintain links with leading professionals, physicians, and manufacturers globally to ensure our care remains current, evidence-based and clinically robust.

Accessible, Ongoing Support

Exceptional hearing outcomes require ongoing, accessible support.

Our patients benefit from:

  • Immediate access to audiologists, technicians and audiology assistants
  • Practical help with technology and communication strategies
  • Ongoing education and counselling
  • Support for family members, carers or staff
  • Regular review appointments and hearing assessments as required

No concern is too small — hearing care is a journey, and we support patients at every stage.
